EQUIPMENT
For authorized common tools and equipment, refer to the Modified Table of
Organization and Equipment (MTOE) applicable to your unit.
Refer to TM 11-701O-2O5-23P for a complete listing and description of special
tools, TMDE and support equipment required by direct support maintenance. Also
refer to appendix B for a list of tools pertaining to the modem assembly.

II.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The most effective way to find a fault in this equipment is to follow a routine
which guides you through the five phases of troubleshooting (fig. 4-l). By
followinq this routine you assure accurate use of fault isolation and fix
procedures. You also improve your troubleshooting skills.
Each of the five phases in this routine is designed to accomplish a specific goal.
