The following procedure

When working on electrical compo-

nents remove all jewelry, dogtags,

and metal items to avoid electrical

shock and burns.

Tools

General Mechanics Tool Box (Section III, Item 1, App B)

Multimeter (Section III, Item 4, App B)

Test

(1)

Remove stop and turn light (para 4-55b).

(2)

Place one multimeter lead in ground terminal (1) and one multimeter lead in terminal (2).

(3)

Check for continuity. If continuity is not present, replace stop and turn light.

(4)

Repeat for ground terminal (1) and terminal (3).
