NOTE

A suitable washing vat can be fabricated using the following

suggested procedures:

(a) Obtain a 55 gallon drum, approximately 23 inch diameter and 34 inch high.

(b) Thoroughly clean out drum (steam clean).

(c) R e m o v e one end of drum (preferably the end with plugs in it). Minimum

height of drum must be 23 inches.

(d) Obtain a length of 5/8 or 3/4 inch water hose sufficient to cover cut edges of

drum.

( e ) S p l i t water hose lengthwise and position on cut edge of drum. This will

prevent filter element damage from the cut edge.
