MALFUNCTION

TEST OR INSPECTION

CORRECTIVE ACTION

1. NO WATER AT FAUCET

Step 1. Inspect for lack of water in storage tank.

Fill storage tank to proper level.

Step 2. Inspect water pump for proper operation.

a. If necessary, position ROADSIDE RECEPTACLES circuit

breaker to ON.

b. Check water pump fuse and replace if defective.

c. Check for proper operation of water pump switch.

Step 3. Inspect water lines between faucet, pump, and tank for damage

which would prevent water flow.

If necessary, replace lines as per paragraph 5-13.

2. SHELTER LIGHTING COMPONENT FAILURE

Step 1. Inspect for failure of one or more fluorescent tubes.

If necessary, replace defective fluorescent tubes as follows:

a. Grasp lamp tube, rotate 90and lower from sockets.

b. Place replacement lamp below sockets with pins vertical.

Insert lamp into sockets and twist until pins lock.

Step 2. Inspect lamp switches for excessive wear, loose connections,

and improper operation and check switchbox cover for security

of mounting.

If necessary, replace defective switch as per paragraph 4-42.

Step 3. Check position of the LIGHTS circuit breaker in the main power

service box.

If necessary, set LIGHTS circuit breaker to ON.
