when working on fuel system. An

explosion may occur, causing

severe injury or death.

a. Test

(1)

Disconnect electrical connector (1) at relay and fuel line (2).

(2)

Place one multimeter lead in electrical connector and one on the fuel pump mount, check for continuity.

(3)

Replace fuel pump if multimeter reading is infinity (00) or if fuel pump does not operate.
