1-11. EQUIPMENT PURPOSE, CAPABILITIES AND FEATURES

The tape cleaner removes dirt and oxide lumps from magnetic tape. It can:

q Clean

any 1/2 inch wide magnetic tape stored on reels of up to 10-1/2 inch

diameter

Clean both sides of the tape at the same time

Tension and stack cleaned tape during rewind operation
