3) Remove the damaged captive screw(s)
from the handle or the battery compart-
ment cover by rotating the screw
counterclockwise.
4) Remove the gasket and place it on the
new captive screw.
5) Replace the screw by turning it clock-
wise.
6) Replace the battery compartment cover,
and tighten the 3 captive screws.
Tighten the screws securely in
order to maintain a watertight
battery compartment. Do not
tighten too tightly or damage
may result to the rubber
gaskets.

1) Completely loosen the range set screw.

2) Remove the damaged range switch and
replace it with a new one.
3) Gradually tighten the range switch screw
until the knob turns easily to each setting
and remains in position.
Do not tighten the screw too
tightly or damage may result to
the screw.
