If indication is abnormal
WARNING
Voltages dangerous to life are present on th e 20-Hz ringing
supply assembly A36 (UUT) when dc power is applied.
NOTE
Steps 1, 2, and 3 are directly dependent on each other;
therefore, they should be performed in the sequence given
below. Step 4 should only be performed if directed to do so
in 1, 2, or 3 below.

Isolation Diodes A36 CRI and A36 CR2:
a.  Connect the equipment as shown in figure 4-8, but do not
apply power.
b.  On the power supply, adjust the controls fully counter-
clockwise for a O volt output.
c.  Connect the equipment to a 115 5 vac source and turn
on the equipment.
d.  On the test fixture, set both GEN switches and the 20 Hz
LOAD switch to the ON position
e.  Connect the negative lead from digital multimeter to J1M
and the positive lead to JIL on the test fixture.
f.  Set the controls on digital multimeter 1 as follows:

DCV
RANGE
200
g.  On the test fixture remove the wire jumper connected
across the AMMETER test points.
h.  Connect the leads from digital multimeter 2 acr oss the
AMMETER test points on the test fixture.
i.
On digital multimeter 2 set the controls as follows:
FUNCTION
AC MA
RANGE
2000 MA
j.
Turn on the power supply and adjust it for a -48 volts
0.5 volt indication on digital multimeter 1.
