5.3 PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
The preventive-maintenance routines given in table 5-2 should be conducted
periodically to ensure maximum operating efficiency with minimum service inter-
ruption.  The routines enable maintenance personnel to systematically survey the
equipment's condition from both a physical and electrical standpoint.
