* Combat time shall not be exceeded. TBO extension starts from the end of combat conditions (departure from
theater of operations.) Aircraft / component hours at this8time must be noted. Extension represents a grace period
added to that aircraft time. Total of aircraft current time plus TBO extension will represent new TBO time. Should this
total exceed the Combat TBO, the Combat TBO will take precedence.
NOTE
When operating under this Technical Bulletin, paragraph 4-3 (1) and (2) of TM 1-1500-328-25
are not in effect.
NOTE
All records should be maintained as before.  Any inspection/ component removal / other
maintenance action which is deferred as a result of a TBO extension shall be performed after
the aircraft is removed from a combat situation.

Record and Reports Forms. Record compliance with this Technical Bulletin on DA Form 2410 (Component
Removal and Repair/Overhaul Record), DA Form 2408-13 (Aircraft Inspection and Maintenance Record) and A For 240-
16 (Aircraft Component Record) in accordance with DA PAM 738-751.
b. Marking Equipment. Not applicable.
c. Identification. Not applicable.
