Removal

CAUTION

When removing batteries always disconnect ground cables first to prevent damage to batteries.

(1)

Loosen four nuts (8) and remove four terminal lugs (9) from two batteries (10).

(2)

Remove temperature switch (11) from battery cell. Install battery cap in its place.

(3)

Remove four nuts (12), four lockwashers (13), eight washers (14), four screws (15), two battery hold down

brackets (16).

(4)

Remove two batteries (10).
