a.
Connect jumper wire between socket D and E

Disconnect multimeter positive (red) lead
from test set, test point A.

Set multimeter to 10 volt dc scale.

Connect multimeter positive (red) lead to
TEST SET test point B.
Power ON.

Read multimeter. If it reads between 4.5 and
6.5 volts, continue testing. If it does not,
refer to Troubleshooting paragraph 3-7.4.
Power OFF.

Remove jumper wire and disconnect multimeter
