GLOSSARY
PCM (Pulse Code Modulation). Special electronic circuits in MUX
equipment that make possible the sending and receiving of many signals or
channels over a cable.
Order Wire. A special circuit in MUX equipment that permits operators to
talk to each other without disturbing the PCM signals.
