Comparator Test
Adjust variable power supply to 20 volts dc.

Read multimeter. If it reads between 3.3
volts and 4.3 volts, continue testing. If
not, refer to Troubleshooting paragraph 3-7.4.
Rotate ALARM TEST switch to position 6.

Read multimeter. If it reads between 5.6
volts and 6.6 volts, continue testing. If
not, refer to Troubleshooting paragraph 3-7.4.

Set multimeter to measure 50 volts dc scale.
Rotate ALARM TEST switch to position 10.

Read multimeter. If it reads between 9.4
volts and 10.4 volts, continue testing. If
not, refer to Troubleshooting paragraph 3-7.4.

Rotate ALARM TEST switch to position 12.

Read multimeter. If it reads between 11.6
volts and 12.6 volts, continue testing. If
not, refer to Troubleshooting paragraph 3-7.4.
Power OFF.

Remove variable power supply leads from sockets 7

Remove multimeter leads.
