Two technicians are needed for this checkout procedure: one on the outside of the PE and the other on
top of the shelter at the airflow valve and silencer.
NOTE
This part of the functional test applies to vans 1 and 4 only. First perform the functional test on van 1
and then repeat the steps on van 4.
Ensure that all van doors
are closed. Ensure that

are closed.
Loosen hose clamp (24)
and remove protective
cap (25) from outlet port.
The sliding plate (26) will

Tighten hose clamp (24).
Disconnect cable

Hold airduct hose (28)

Remove airduct hose.
Wait about 15 seconds
Sliding plate (29) will
move to reduce airflow
and reconnect cable P15
into the PE.

Replace airduct hose
(28). Tighten hose
clamp (27).
After van 4 is completed,
