(1)
Verify all screws and fasteners are tight.
(2)
Verify QE and DEF binding posts on case and on gun
assemblies push in freely and will hold a #18 wire
firmly.
(3)
Loosen the fasteners holding the battery cover and the
remove cover. There shall not be batteries installed.
(4)
Verify all rubber boots on Gun Assembly are not damaged.
(5)
Verify all knobs are secured on their control shafts and
detent switches detent properly and the knob indicators
line up with the proper nomenclature.
(6)
Verify all potentiometer type controls rotate smoothly
to their stops. There shall not be any 360 rotation of
these controls.
4. Electrical Tests.
The following tests are to be performed, using the applicable data sheet (figure B-1) for

(1) Set PS1 to on and set voltage to
35v + 1v D/C. Set POWER switch on.
Measure between DEFI and DEF2

5.25v + 0.5vD.C.
b)
GDU power lamp on
c)
SCA displays GUNOOEOM
d)
GA connected to DEF
displays a horizontal
arrow.
e)
GA connected to QE
displays a vertical
arrow and decimal
point.
f)
Alarm will sound.
5.35v + 0.5vDC.
(2) Reduce PS1 voltage to 12v + 0.5v and
